项目背景 Program Background


计算机网络是允许我们的计算机进行通信来传递信息并合作解决问题的关键基础设施。人工智能是计算机学科的一个分支,被认为是二十一世纪三大*端技术(基因工程、纳米科学、人工智能)之一。这是因为近三十年来它获得了迅速的发展,在很多学科领域都获得了广泛应用,并取得了丰硕的成果,人工智能已逐步成为一个独立的分支,无论在理论和实践上都已自成一个系统。人工智能目前在计算机领域内,得到了愈加广泛的发挥,并在机器人,经济政治决策,控制系统,仿真系统中得到应用。而神经网络是人工智能领域的一部分,我们通过一种模仿人脑结构及其功能的信息处理系统,数据的学习、结构和算法来实现对大脑的研究,提高人们对信息处理的智能化水平。

A computer network is the critical infrastructure that allows our computers to communicate to pass information and cooperate to solve problems. Artificial intelligence is a branch of computer science and is considered to be one of the three cutting-edge technologies of the 21st century (genetic engineering, nanoscience, artificial intelligence). This is because it has achieved rapid development in the past 30 years, has been widely applied in many subject areas, and has achieved fruitful results, artificial intelligence has gradually become an independent branch, both in theory and practice has become a system of its own. At present, artificial intelligence has been more and more widely used in the computer field, and has been applied in robots, economic and political decision-making, control systems, simulation systems. The neural network is a part of the field of artificial intelligence. We realize the research of the brain through an information processing system that mimics the structure and function of the human brain, data learning, structure and algorithm, and improve people's intelligence level of information processing.

This course will teach the fundamental approach to artificial intelligence, with extensive programming examples and AI techniques to interpret information from a wide variety of sources and use it to achieve intelligent, goal-directed behavior. A computer network is a complex system, but at the same time it is easy to understand. The professor will improve students' understanding by teaching the basic principles of computer networking. In top-down analysis, the professor leads students through the application, transport, network, and data link layers of the protocol stack.

Professor Vicary

King's College, Computer Science Department, University of Cambridge

Professor Vicary obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics at Mansfield College, Oxford, before studying Part III mathematics at DAMTP and Trinity Hall, Cambridge. He then completed a PhD in Category Theory and the foundations of quantum Information with Chris Isham at Imperial College London, where he was awarded the degree in 2009. Since then, he has worked at Oxford University, becoming a senior research fellow in 2013. He was also a senior Research Fellow at the Singapore Centre for Quantum Technologies from 2011 to 2014. Professor Vicary's work is in the study of advanced category theory and its applications in computer science and mathematics, particularly in areas related to quantum structures.
