托福考试中因为语感而出错的语句之可以用at first和at last列举观点吗?

at first表示“起初”，“一开始”，有“事情在*初如何如何，但后来就变成了什么什么情形”的意思，并不能用来列举*个观点。这些短语可以用来引出*个观点：first of all/in the first place/first and foremost。

此外，initially是at first的意思，也不能用来引出*个观点——我至少跟3名母语为英语的人验证过。但是我见过不少的“大湿”和他们的著作说可以用initially引出*个观点，这是托福写作界的一个经典谎言。

同理，at last表示“*终”，“终于”，有“经过不少折腾，*后达到了某种目的”的含义，并不能用来列举*后一个观点。这些短语可以用来引出*后一个观点：last of all/in the last place/last but not least。

【例】At first I thought he was shy, but then I discovered he was just not interested in other people.

请认真体会这个例句中at first跟but then的对比和时间先后顺序。

【例】And Lotus, having initially thought they might not even make the test at all, ended up running for two and a half days.

请认真体会这个例句中initially thought和ended up的对比和时间先后顺序。

托福考试中因为语感而出错的语句之“上网”真的是surf on the Internet?

“上网”的正确说法是surf the Internet/Net/Web，on是多余的。>>托福提升详情

请注意，是the Internet，the不能少，I一定要大写。

【例】Many towns and cities have cybercafes where you can surf the Internet/Net/Web.

托福考试中因为语感而出错的语句之As far as I concerned和As far as I am concern都不对

应该是As far as I am concerned。

【例】As far as I'm concerned the officials incited the fight.

托福考试中因为语感而出错的语句之working experience难道也有错?

一般不说working experience，work experience才是地道英语。

【例】He hasn't had enough work experience for the job.

托福考试中因为语感而出错的语句之学知识 = learn knowledge?

learn不能跟knowledge搭配。经常跟knowledge搭配的是以下动词：

acquire/gain/obtain knowledge 学知识

accumulate knowledge 积累知识

absorb/assimilate knowledge 吸收知识

【例】How can such a large quantity of knowledge be acquired?

【例】Learning usually refers to knowledge gained by schooling and study.

【例】If you learn something, you obtain knowledge or a skill through studying or training.

【例】Clever children absorb knowledge easily.
